Hi and welcome, I’m Cindy.

I have a multi discipline holistic approach to help clients feel their best.  My focus is to support the whole body, not just the parts that may have discomfort or pain.  Pain management, prevention and maintenance are just a few elements I address within my practice.  Active aging and functional strength training is our motivation within each Pilates session, to help clients enjoy the activities they love to do with ease and efficiency.  Finally making positive lifestyle choices and focus on eating a whole foods diet helps the body find the balance within.

After years teaching the Pilates Method at the Vancouver Pilates Centre in BC, training at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, studying and then receiving my acupuncture licence, I started my own small studio in Toronto. It is a highly unique and personalized healthcare approach that can address everyone’s goals and health needs.  This whole body approach can support professional athletes, those recovering from injury or those who just want to keep up with their kids and grand kids.  I have been in business now for over 8 years and work hard to create a comfortable and inspiring atmosphere for all of my clients.   My passion is helping clients move beyond their physical limitations or injuries, by focusing on what they can do instead of what they can’t.

The Studio

My bright and charming studio is in the heart of Greektown, minutes from the Chester subway station.  I teach private and semi private Pilates classes designed to strengthen, lengthen and support your whole body.  I also offer personalized holistic nutrition consulting and acupuncture therapy as valuable tools to help bring you towards good health.

My clients health and well being is of the utmost importance.  My aim is to offer services that will improve your health, both in the short and long term.   Any service can be used individually or in combination with each other.

 Reflexology is a service offered by Jerry Getty.  It focuses on the reflexes of the feet to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, revitalize your energy and

Cindy's bio

Cindy has had an exceptionally impressive career as a Pilates teacher and professional dancer and choreographer.  She has worked at the prestigious Stratford Festival and several other theatres across Canada and the U.S..  She has over 25 years of experience teaching dance and Pilates to professional dancers, NHL players, little children and active grandparents.  She has been influenced and shaped by master teachers including Dianne Miller, Irene Dowd and Eileen Birks.  Cindy is not only a certified Pilates Instructor, she is also a registered holistic nutritionist and a registered acupuncturist.
